LPC
If you're living with the aftershocks of trauma, addiction, or loss, it can feel like you’re constantly carrying the weight of your past. Maybe you can’t sleep. Maybe your temper’s shorter than you’d like. Maybe you feel emotionally shut down—or like you’re just trying to survive each day. Whether you're a first responder, in recovery, or the spouse of someone who’s been through trauma, you don’t have to carry it alone.
I’m a licensed therapist in Texas who specializes in working with adults ready to face their pain and begin building something new. Many of my clients come from first responder and military backgrounds—firefighters, EMS, law enforcement—and I also work closely with spouses or partners impacted by secondary trauma, addiction, and being the caregiver of someone battling mental illness.
My approach is supportive, trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based. I draw from techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based techniques to help you address symptoms and equip you with tools to move forward. You are not just your trauma, depression, or addiction—you are a full human being, and I’ll help you reconnect with the strengths you may have forgotten.
Together, we’ll explore the parts of your story that feel heavy, while also building toward hope and possibility. Therapy is a space where you can finally put words to your experiences, get honest about what you need, and begin to feel more grounded, alive, and in control.
I accept most major insurance providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), and United Healthcare.
If you're ready to start healing, I’d be honored to support you.
